AEC’s Recent Trend

If you’ve been following along with The Point, our resident podcast here at AEC, you’ll know that recently I’ve had to make some tongue-in-cheek apologies to the listeners. There has been somewhat of a persistent trend lately in our content that just so happens to focus on China.

I apologize if this has made the content seem one-note, but it certainly isn’t my fault that China has recently been the focus of several regulations and DOJ cases that showcase their attempts to subvert U.S. regulations and acquire technology our government has refused them. Their repetition cannot be laid at my feet, and I will not apologize for calling them out whenever it occurs. That being said, the world of Export Compliance is wide and far-reaching and there are bound to be more areas of focus out there that the audience and our clients can benefit from. So I promise in the near future to ensure that our content explores some of these overlooked areas.

Only I’m afraid that promise will have to be postponed just slightly, as I believe this month’s podcast episode will feature the recent Trump-Xi meeting in China that happened this week. Sorry!
